The 2024 Alternative Fuels and Chemicals Coalition Conference is being held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, DC. There is a limited block of hotel rooms available at special rates for all attendees. The reserved rooms are limited and are available on a first-come-first-served basis so book your room soon

Plenary Program

 

Attendees will learn about the necessary factors to successful commercialization and decarbonization in sustainable aviation fuels, alternative fuels, renewable chemicals (includes bioplastics), biomaterials, food ingredients and additives, flavors and fragrances, alternative proteins, and regenerative agriculture.

​

Breakout Sessions

 

Breakout Sessions are 90 minutes with each one having one moderator with a maximum of four speakers. Breakout sessions will be focused on the five main educational subjects.

Workshops

The AFCC Workshop sessions will offer a hands-on approach to learning in addition to skills-building. These sessions will offer a moderated, in-depth discussion among a group of experts offering diverse viewpoints around a particular topic. more info coming later in 2024.

Poster Presentations

 

Poster Presentations, the presentation of research by an individual or group, will be illustrating the goals, methods and outcomes of various research projects. The presentations will be presented in an informal environment during one or more of the social events planned. All Poster Presentations will be made available to all participants in the conference program.

Call for Abstracts

 

Submitted Abstracts should describe the topic you would like to present at the AFCC conference, highlighting your argument, evidence and contribution to the historical literature. Abstracts are restricted to 250 words. Be sure to orient your abstract to the three main educational subject areas. Find out more details on submitting your Abstract.
